    Default spybot/firefox

I'm getting very confused. This is the 4th time I have downloaded spybot to this computer. After downloading it I try to use it and the scan doesn't work. I thought I got a bad download so I tried again and then I tried and old version, still having problems.
I have downloaded spybot to two other computers with no problems. That's why I'm confused. Having downloaded the first version I came to and having no problems and now all problems. Unlike the previous successful downloads to other computers, they did not ask me to allow updates immediately. At first I didn't, til it didn't work so I allowed the updates but still it didn't work.
    HELP!

Another problem I am having is with Firefox. I love it but sometimes it says it is already open and won't allow me to open a new browser. The problem is there is no browser open that I can find. The only answer that I have found is to reboot and that is troublesome just to get a browser. Any answers for this problem?

    Hi there,
You can update your connection speed using free internet boosters available on net. Add firewall and enable add-ons. I'm using firefox version 3.6 and i'm just doing fine with it. I even checked my speed here IP Details.com : Internet Speed test only yesterday..
    Cheers!

I too get the same firefox error so here is what i did was
By deleting the .parentlock in the Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles/***.default directory, it keeps all of your preferences, bookmarks ands if still the problem persists then delete the profiles.ini file in User Library>Application Support>Firefox. but by doing so you will loose your preferences, bookmarks,.

let me know if you have any problems

Nice try to fix firefox are you own idea and effort... but if there problem occur again then update your explorer or use another application to solve your problem.

    Good luck!
