Thanks for listening. I have a friend who needs to install AVG free on her HP Pavillion 700, System #P9852A. The HP was purchased in 2003.
Is it possible for someone to tell me which old version of AVG free to copy and install on her computer? Thank you in advance.

AVG media is available on some free torrent posting webpages. Be shure to have a torrent downloading software and take a version where the peers and seeders numbers are the highest!
Hi Mary, if your using windows XP then their should be no problem, you can download it from the AVG website.
Please tell us about the OS of that computer, it is expected to have Win2K or WinXP on a 2003 computer if it runs on Windows. For AVG free version antivirus, versions 7.** is for 95,98,ME OS and 8.** for Windows 2000 onwards, Version 9.** is WinXP onwards as much as I know. I have used Versions 6.** to 8.** for a long time.
Hi thankfulguy, yes Windows Xp is onward's and you may start installing or downloading the software using version 9 to the latest version. Make sure you've installed service packs, it might be needed at latest versions of AVG.
