I would suggest trying Firefox as advised by Admin as experience has shown it to run quicker, but be aware that there are limitations (Page display) which are apparent in Firefox.

Should you encounter a page, which due to the format of the page confuses Firefox, then this can be overcome by switching in the short term to viewing with Safari or Opera.

Be aware that many web developers do not substantially test page/site display across platform/browser type.

Having more than one browser available is becoming more and more adviseable.
