need to go back to iTunes old Version

Thanks guys you are a great help! i had to go back to iTunes 7.2 because the griffin iFill program stopped supporting everything after 7.4.2. without your old version download and instructions on how to remove itune 7.4.2 from my 10.4.10 os. I use ifill 1.13. i only need basic itunes - i only have an old iPod and wanted to keep using iFill.

how do i make it so that iTunes 6 doesn't automatically add and delete songs on my Ipod? like when you plug it in and the song is not in the library so it deletes it from your Ipod. also does anyone know why when i put songs onto my ipod, i can't see some of them when i go to play them. when my ipod is connected to my computer they are there, but when i go to play those songs, they are not there.

help!!! i went to play a song on my ipod n it jus completely froze so i plugged it into my computer n went onto itunes n it said my ipod is corrupted n it can't restore the settings cos an unexpected eror has occured!!! please if anyone knows whats going on please reply. thanx.

I am rolling back from 7.6.1.9 crappy itunes to 7.2, I have read this thread and I think im an idiot or something.....

(I get the cant read library from newer itunes thingy) (Windows XP)

I went to remove the .itl file in my music>itunes but it is not there.....

I do have a Library.xml from the 7.6.1.9 saved so do I just put this in the Itunes folder?


Did I miss something here?

I need step by step help. i uninstalled 7.7 from my computer. i installed 7.6. Why won't itunes open.

Download iTunes 7.6

• Move My Music > iTunes > "iTunes Music Library" to desktop.
• Uninstall iTunes 7.7.
• Install iTunes 7.6

That should revert iTunes back. post replies if anyone needs help

It says the file " itunes library .itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of Itunes. What do i do?

When I try to remove the lastest itunes and go to an earlier version, I get an error message - 'A later vi=ersion of itunes is on this machine - installer can not continue.' I read the different responses on this thread and tried to remove current version through add/remove programs, then downloaded

then tried to install version 6.05 again - the same message came up. Is there any way I can remove all traces of itunes so I can get to this earlier version? This can be very frustrating@

Hi!!! every time i want to download some old iTunes, it delivers me this error message:

"403 Forbidden You do not have permission to access this document"
