I'm confused

When I try to install Musicmatch 10 it says there is a compatiblity problem for Vista. When I went to the Musicmatch download page it said that it was compatible with Vista.

Does anyone know if there is a compatiblity problem?

Musicmatch works with vista.
after downloading Musicmatch just run as administrator

If the above suggestion still doesn't work why try to run it on compatibility mode. here's how you can do it.

1. right click on the application
2. select properties
3. click on the compatibility tab
4. check run this program on compatibility mode for: and select Windows XP.
5. try installing the application again

This procedure solves most of my compatibility problems on Vista. hope this also works wonders for you

All musicmatch versions work on vista.

I'm sory to jump in like that, but i have the same issue. I did everything suggested above and is still telling me that it is not compatible. The only difference is that i didn't have Windows XP only option in the compatibility tab, i had Windows XP (service pack 2). Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thank you in advance.

which version are u trying to install?

I tried both of the 10 versions available on this site and also 9 just to see if it would work. None of them do.

what error you get when you right click on music box icon and select"run as admin" ?

I thought i posted a reply a while ago...Did i forget to hit post or was something wrong with my message and it got deleted ? Hmmm... Are images allowed?

Anyways...let's try it again
When i right click on the .exe and run as admin it strats extracting and right before it finishes this pops up-



If i click "Check for solutions" it just tells me that it's not compatible with my version of Windows and if i click "Run program" then the above message keeps popping up.
I have done the suggested by Slavezero compatibility mode thingie.
