It looks like that your download is not getting completed. Download a download manager like http://www.orbitdownloader.com/ and then download itunes using that program. It should workout fine
I just got an ipod nano for Christmas it is the newest one they have now. Everytime I try to download the newer versions of iTunes 8.0, 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 I can't complete the download. The message I receive is:
C:\Documents and Settings\Princess\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5|IF2Q612N\iTunes8 Setup[1].exe is not a valid Win32 application.
I have downloaded all of the patches available for Windows XP in order for it work properly. I was able to download iTunes 7._____ with absolutely no problem, BUT the ipod that I have needs iTunes 8.0 or higher. I also went through all of the troubleshooting steps from apples website.
If anyone can help me I would appreciate it, this is so frustrating.....
