Internet Explorer 5.2.3 on my iMac with OS 10.5.4

I am on a Mac using OS X 10.5.4. I am trying to download Internet Explorer 5.2.3. I keep getting an error message,invalid checksum image,disk images failed to mount. And I am downloading IE through Firefox. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know but when you find out let me know because I am having the same problem with my new laptop running 10.5.6 and I need Internet Explorer to access my reservation system for camping this season. They revamped their whole system and I cannot use Netscape anymore, just IE which I cannot download. Bummer!

Note Internet Explorer 5.2.3 for Mac OS X is not compatible with Mac OS 9.x or earlier. It requires features that are available only in Mac OS X. If you use Mac OS 8.1 to 9.x, you can download and install Internet Explorer 5.1.7 for Mac OS 8.1 to 9.x.

I'm looking for more info I'll post some good stuff here soon.
