Fixing A Yahoo messenger errors

There are lot of errors in yahoo messenger nowadays unlike older version of the said chatting program. As i remembered the latest version of YM is 9.0.0.2112 am i right? Off course, today's version is greater than before but is more prone to viruses. I have met different people who ask me what to do with their YM. Read along to know how can you prevent it. Anyway prevention is better than cure.


A. The most Common Virus for YM is the YMworm in which it will corrupt your whole yahoo messenger. Once this worm hits you YM you cannot use it anymore. You cannot uninstall it or even reinstall it. So here are some few tips on how can you prevent and/or fix it.


1) Do not visit rooms which has bots for a chatter. This bots sometimes are the carrier of the virus. Once they sent you a message, you are infected. And once you log out you cannot log in anymore, that is the time the virus will spread.

2) If your YM is corrupted, there are different virus scan that detects and remove such virus. I have tried different antivirus but this virus is one smart virus. Kaizerkilller is the best for this virus.

3) As i have said this is one smart virus so if Kaizer killer doesn't work you have one last option. Have your files backed up and ask your technician to reformat your computer.

Those are great tips. I totally agree with you. It is also a fact that there is really no defined anti-virus software program that is 100% effective so prevention is always the most excellent defense. All in all, the best way to prevent threats from worms and viruses is by taking precaution. It is better to be safe than sorry.
