11There are these system requirements that I found on Apple.com

    Windows Requirements
    • Windows XP or 2000 (latest service packs recommended)
    • 500 MHz Pentium class processor or better
    • QuickTime 7.1407575 (included)
    • 256MB RAM
    • Supported CD-R or DVD-R drive to burn CDs
    • Broadband Internet connection (DSL/Cable/LAN) for buying and streaming music
    Additional Video Requirements
    • 1.5 GHz Pentium class processor or better
    • 32MB video RAM
    Found at http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you meet them then just try to install it again after you restart your computer.
Also you can try installing the stand alone version of Quicktime player and then iTunes after words.

    Dear Michelle,

Please do not offer money. we will try to fix your problem at no cost. Since the software are free, we feel that we should not charge for our service. I will personally help you.

First of all go to Add or Remove Programs and uninstall if you find iTunes or Quicktime.

Secondly, from your program files and if you find any of the following folders please delete them.

    "Quicktime" or "iTunes"

then go to oldapps.com and try to install older version of iTunes only (between 4.5 and 6.0.1).

Post more questions if you have any.
