    Question EXE files

Hi I've just downloaded an old version of dreamweaver onto my mac from this website, however, it downloaded as an .exe file. Now I know that these files are made for windows but why does every web-site including this one have these programs meant for macs as .exe files? And how do I overcome this problem? Please don't tell me to go to the adobe web-site cos I can't even get the trial version on my computer. Does anyone have an idea what to do with this file or even tell me where I can get a decent download for dreamweaver MX? Thanks in advance!

    Welcome to the site,

The file you downloaded is made only for Windows. I dont think there is a way to put exe on your Macintosh computer. Try to look for older dreamweaver for mac. Which version did you for your mac anyways?

Hi thanks for replying. I downloaded dreamweaver MX. I've tried many different versions from many different sites and getting the same results. I can't seem to find any in .dmg files. Everyone I've tried says its for macs but all of them won't open. Regards weemousy

I think this site may help.
I don't want to be a pirate but i think you can find a exe file converter at piratebay.org or if nothing happens you have to completely uninstall your program and look for the converter first befor downloading it. Here in this website i think you can download it and you can convert is using some converter in the site i gave you.
