    Default Musicmatch Help

I had Musicmatch factory installed when I purchased a Dell personal XP. This was about a year ago. Now when I click the musicmatch icon it won't open. On the few occasions that musicmatch opened, the library that I created is gone. When I try to turn off the computer, there is a problem with ending the musicmatch program and
freezes my computer, so that I have to turn off the computer manually. What is wrong here, and how can I fix it???
    Need help!!!
    Thanks

I will be glad to help you out in this issue. First of all can you let me know that what's your dell Brand and the number. (Look on the Computer itself, it should be in the front or back) There are several ways you can re-install the application so the issue will not happen again.

X106024. Any help would be appreciated.

MM problems. You can download MM9 from "oldapps". First you have to Delete using your Add/Remove. Next you have to go to "Programs" and find the Files, and Delete it. Then go to "oldapps" and get #9, NOT #10. That should restore your tunes. Then contact MM and get the updated #9, which has less problems than MM10.

MM Problems. To reinstall MM first you have to go to your Add/Remove Programs, and Delete it. Next you have to locate it - probably in "Programs", and Delete it. Next go to "oldapps" and get MM 9, NOT MM 10, which has a LOT of problems. That should restore all your tunes. Then contact MM Help and get the Updated Version of MM 9 which is something like "MM/partners". The updated version works fairly well but not as "Fancy"

I had the same problem. It turned out to be Internet Explorer 7. I uninstalled Explorer 7 and downloaded musicmatch 7.5 and it runs OK. What 7.5 does not do, however, is allow "line in" from a phonograph where my old version would. Anyone know which version I need?

    Question Re: Musicmatch Help

End of September last year my hard disk drive in my dell inspirion 1000 decided to start dying on me. So I had to go to dell site and order a new dell laptop. Now I have a dell inspirion 1721. Which unfortunaltly has Windows Vista installed on it. Which in my view pt is the worst version of windows ever and dell should of waited to offer this version of windows til all the bugs and issues were taken care of. But anyways I had to reinstall all my programs. Only problem is that Vista isnt compatible withh 90 percent of everything out there. So i been searching for a site that had the latest version of Music Match. Found this site after months of searching. It says on the musicmatch page of this site that musicmatch is compatible with Vista and Dell says the program is too. However when I download the program from your site and try to install and run musicmatch it says the program is not compatible. Someone tell me why it isnt compatible? the last version of musicmatch b4 the switch to yahoo music player was released early 2007 so I would think it be compatible with vista. Now on my new dell laptop it has the yahoo player thing but it doesnt have half the features musicmatch had. So I was wondering if there isnt a fix for musicmatch does anyone know another program that has all the features of musicmatch esp the .wav to .mp3 convertor feature? thanks.
