Default MusicMatch Jukebox - 05-20-2009

I have a Dell computer that I purchased in 2004 and I use Windows XP. I use MUSICMATCH Jukebox, and I cannot open the program now. Can someone tell me what happened and what I need to do? I did run a scan with Malwarebytes to rid my computer of any viruses in case that was the problem. Any help anyone can give me will be greatly appreciated.

I tried opening MusicMatch Jukebox by clicking program and running as administrator (actually I am an individual, and I'm the only user and it contained my name). When I asked it to run, it acted like it was going to open with an arrow and an hour glass, but it just never opens. Nothing happens. The arrow and hour glass disappear and that is it. Like I said, I have a Dell computer that uses Windows XP, and I bought it in 2004 and MusicMatch was on it.

Did you recently installed any new software on your machine? Or did you install Service Pack 3 for your computer?

I did not install any new software. The only thing I did was update Internet Explorer as asked by MySpace, and now everytime I launch it, MySpace Page comes up. It is very slow to respond. The first thing I noticed after that was that my HP Director would not open, and now MusicMatch won't open. They both do the same thing. You click them and nothing happens.

dawnanita,
I think I can guess the reason. Once I installed IE version 7 or 8, and then my HP 2608 all-in-one printer stops working, even its driver CD could not make it reworking. If you are using WinXP SP2, then IE6 may be enough for browsing. Roll back to IE6 and see whether HP director is working or not (re-installation may be needed).

Do not upgrade any web browser. If possible use two web browser like for example, use IE 6 then if myspace ask you to upgrade, try running myspace in another web browser such as mozilla firefox, Safari....etc. In this way your programs will not malfunction.

We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
