Try re-installing Power ISO then uninstall it using a good uninstaller program to remove all program entries including registry entries, it always works for meor you can try system restore.
Hey all...
For some reason after uninstalling Power ISO I have 4 drives showing. It looks like my DVD & DVD-RW are showing twice. And both are showing as CD drives under my computer. I went into Accessories-System Tooll-System Info -- Saw CD and saw nothing in it.
In the Control Panel-Perf. Main-Device Manager-Both DVD and RW show as working properly??
I uninstalled both - rebooted and 2 disk drives were showing "?" and still given a Drive Letter but under "Other Devices" now.
I checked the IDE ATA controllers and I have this showing
Intel 82801FB Ultra ATA storage Controllers - 2651
Intel 82801FB/FBM Ultra ATA storage Controllers - 266f
Primary IDE Channel
Primary IDE Channel
I went into CMD prompt and opened "show hidden devices". Found 2 Secondary IDE Channels removed them -- rebooted still the same.
Any help?? I can't burn a thing - I can read some disks but thats about it.

What happens when an unstoppable force meets an unmovable object?
OK - So i reinstalled Power ISO. Uninstalled with Revo Uninstaller - I also ran CCleaner. Found a lot of things lying around that regular unistaller didnt get. I uninstalled the drives via Device Manager. Rebooted and came back with just the 2 drives. BUT they only said CD. They are a DVD & DVD-RW. Tried deleting the primary IDE channels - and the drives again. All 4 CD drives came back.
do you have a daemon or any other virtual cd mounter installed? did you also check your burner settings? try to check if your recorder is set to your cd/dvd burner drive. what is the exact error you are getting when you try to burn?

Maybe the driver of your burner is outdated and needed to be upgraded. Maybe this will solve it. Just a wild guess.
We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
