I downloaded this software from Oldapps.com, and I am having issues. can someone please help?

Can I guess? You cannot access the CD database.

MusicMatch was sold to Yahoo in 2004. By 2008 MusicMatch was out of business. There is no longer any support for this software.

Was I right?

Thanks for the reply. I have many issues with it.

I have a Gateway laptop which had Vista. I replaced it with XP to accomodate MM. I downloaded the app from oldapps.

Issues:

1) MM does not launch sometimes
2) I am not able to view my album art in fullscreen (Do you any other
program with this feature? The original MM had it)
3) MM does not play

Which version of MM are you trying and what XP service pack are you trying it on?

I've only had luck running 7.5 in XP.

Keep in mind also that you had to register MM in order access all of the features.

Can you view Album Art in fullscreen? Register now? They are now Yahoo aren't they?

As far as I know, there is no one to register with.

Did you try reinstalling your MM. Upon installation, they will ask you if you want to register your version or not, try not to register it first. Maybe this will solve the case.
