ares won't connect

Check your firewall settings or any protection software you are using. Try to disable it first, maybe it is preventing you from connecting to ares

There is something that prevents ares from connecting. If it says it is connecting but after a few seconds or minutes it doesn't, then follow slavezeros advice. Maybe the firewall is preventing ares to connect.

remove ares and use utorrent to download torrent files
or use
orbit download manager

are you using some security softwares? defender, anti spyware etc...? if not then try viewing open ports ... type netstat -an in command prompt with ares closed... to see if ares ports are being used with another applications... just try...

i have been trying to connect to ares for a couple of weeks now i have installed every version and still connecting but won't connect. i have turned off firewall changed ports everything. can someone help me

I tried everything possible but the only thing that worked was to uninstall ares,download again but into a usb memory stick! It worked first time, hope this helps...
