Re: ares won't connect please help somebody i have a dell studio 540 running windows vista. avg is my security. i bought the computer about 3 weeks ago right from dell do you think they may have some way of blocking the connection?

I would suggest to see if your Windows firewall is blocking the connection. Also ISP and your modem can play a part in blocking the connection as well.

The recommended solution, however, is to not use Ares Galaxy. Instead, try Ares Destiny.
