How to Install Skype on Macintosh

Thank you both for your posts.

On the first round of posted advice, i went through each option. Mount could not help - it suggested that I try to redownload and try again. I tried again, and no luck.

C-Command software only works on macs 10.3 and up.

DMGfixer said it was fixed, but it could not launch

SubRosaSoft has removed their Image Mount software - is there anotehr place to get this?

Finally, the pub4 link is dead.

on the 2nd post: My hard drive is called iMac 15 HD -- so no illegal characters. Software: 10.2.8 - so it has the minimum. The software downloads are all up todate (only the new blue tooth is not downloaded, but I didn't bother) so no luck yet.

I am going to give up for the day, and think about it some more. My mac dealer never had trouble with this before, so has no advice either.

I really appreciate your time with this -- and if I do figure it out, I will let you know what I discovered.

(I am expecting to get a Mac Power Book Pro soon - but its back ordered right now, so am fooling with an older mac loaner until its in.)

Again, thanks for your help - any other ideas are most welcome.

I DO have a MacBook Pro, brand new and shiney and "virgin" and I have had nothing but unsuccessful attempts with Skype, and this site...I emailed this complaint to the email it says to - the tech support one - 'submission@oldapps.com', if less than 50MB, which version Skype 2.5.0.85.dmg is - but have no response as of yet. I am so aggrivated at this point without Skype!! and it worked just perfectly and fine on my Dell desktop with its Windows operating system.
I replaced it an additional 2 more times because I thought I did something wrong - it pops up ok, but nobody's name is in green; my ENTIRE CONTACT list shows up grey like no one in the whole world is online!!!
I tried that 'dmg' link someone suggested and it didn't help...it's not really a site.
Does anyone know what to do in this case? I'd be so grateful for a solution! I use Skype ALL THE TIME...well I used to...

Which version of skype was the first to incorporate Video? 2.0.0.6 or earlier.....

Bill and Bob, two children, were sitting outside a clinic. Bill happened to be crying very loudly.
