Downloaded skype won't run

I have an old Ibook Mac OS X version 10.3.9 Power
PC G3. Months ago I had a version of Skype where I could see the people calling me. Then the hard drive broke, we got a new one and downloaded skype 2.7.0.330 , still it doesn.t run and I don't now why. I'm not good with computers actually I am terrible at them. PLEASE Somebody help!!

Re download the version of skype you want using a download manager. Maybe the file you've just downloaded is corrupted.

I agree with Roi. You just have to be sure that you are downloading a uncorrupted file.
