itunes 9.0 what a mess...please help me!

Up until Monday I had no problems with itunes...I downloaded the new one..9.0 and now I can't even get itunes to come up...its keeps on saying error message and must shut down...

I have looked and looked, and nothing has helped...I even restored my computer to two weeks ago and nothing...

Now I am thinking about wiping itunes out completely and downloading the older version...and now I am afraid I don't even know what will be there...

can anybody help?

Download a program called Revo Uninstaller. Then uninstall iTunes.

After that delete a file called "iTunes Library.xml" from My Documents > My Music > iTunes folder.

Note: This file called "iTunes Library" holds your music listing in a database, by deleting this file, you will loose what's stored in that database, your songs will not be deleted at all.

Then come back to oldapps and install the older version.

After you install older version open itunes and go to File menu and select Add a folder to the library and navigate to your music folder.
