Musicmatch Issue

Greetings
I have Musicmatch 7.1 that has worked very well until I reformatted. Now it will not reinstall. Freezes. I believe it has to do with service pack 3 and windows updates. What I used this a lot for was being able to record from an external device - Record player / tape player. I loaded a newer version from the internet but do not see a record button even though under the options and recorder tab there is a selection for Mic or line in.
Any Idea how to record from en external device?
I am running XP on the PC.

Search for some program uninstaller from the net and download it, use it to uninstall Musicmatch 7.1 then after that search for the folder of music match 7.1. Usually after uninstalling programs not all files are deleted and they became the reason why installation freezes. Delete the remaining files left after uninstalling and the proceed to install the fresh copy of Musicmatch 7.1.

I suggest you download the new one from the net and install a hotfix to resolve the conflict.

Hi RKJACKETS, I think their's something a missed here, try to make sure that your sound devices are working properly. Then download the software again, and before you install it make sure you run a clean uninstallation to removed all registry settings. There are lots of uninstallation software available in the net.
