Hi adwallace,
Can you tell us which was the older operating system version of OS X that Firefox worked on.
Also can you tell me which Firefox version did not work on Snow Leopard. I can try on my macbook and let you know the steps to get it to work.
hi--
I'm new, so hope I'm in the right part of the forum.
I am setting up a MacBook Pro with the latest OS X (Snow Leopard). My university tech system still doesn't support Macintosh sufficiently and the webmail system we use (Domino, part of Lotus Notes) doesn't work with Safari. In the past I've used Firefox, but the newer versions of Firefox also don't work. So last summer, when I was setting up another Mac, our tech people directed me to this site, where I downloaded an old version of Firefox--no problem then, and it worked well.
But now I can't seem to get that same version to download on this computer. It loads and loads without getting there. I've tried twice. I'm on wireless, sitting right beside my modem, so it's not my connectivity (which I just doublechecked with my provider).
Advice? Sorry for the long post--

hi, admin--
The version of Firefox is 2.0.0.14.
This worked for a different MacBook that's not with me at the moment, but the OS must have been the one right before Snow Leopard, since I got that MacBook (my office computer) no earlier than this past summer.
The tech people at the U. still recommended the Firefox version above, but they were just reading their old notes.
Thanks for trying to help me with this!

what exactly is the error when installing?
Here To Help
It simply won't finish. I click the download link, it shows "loading" in the tab and the little clock thing runs---and runs. I've tried leaving it for a hour and still no download.
What's up, do you think?
Here is what you should do.
Go to: Presenta Downloads and download the Mac version. That's called download manager to download files easily on your macbook.
Then go to Old Version of Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.20 for mac Download - OldApps.com and download the older version using that application. (iGetter)
And then install it on your mac. Let us know if you have any problems.

That worked beautifully!!! Thank you so much for your help. I'll pass the information on to other Mac users in my U. system, and tell them about your helpful website.

You can just follow help_desks advice. Use a download manager which you can see here in oldapps then try downloading your iTunes version 9 again.
We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
