    Red face Mac OS X 10.2.4

    Have been given a MAC iBOOK (Version =2.2) and it has system version MAC OSX 10.2.4. Machine speed 700MHz and Bus speed 100MHz. I can not use my broadband on it and it says i need at least Mac os x 10.3.9 Am i able to upgrade to it and how can i as i cannot connect it to the internet..

    You have to buy CDs from apple to perform the update. Which company's internet are you trying to set up? May be someone here can figure out how to help you faster.

    i currently am using telstra broadband but am thinking of swapping to optus wifi... Will it work with wifi????
    Where can i buy the cds from as i looked on apple website but it didnt help me...

    I don't think you can buy them from Apple but a friend of mine suggested that you can search ebay for that. They are called "Mac 10.3 Upgrade Disk". Do a little research on the subject just so that you know that you are buying the right thing. I would email the seller and ask him if that's the right thing for you to get.

    Also for wifi, you would want to buy/install a USB wireless receiver. Best thing for that is to call the support number of optus wifi and talk to the technical support.
