Where and how to load firefox/ adobe flashplayer

I have a Mac i book G3 900mhz 128 ram +512, 12 inch white case. I up dated from Mac osX 2.8 version to 3.9. I have had nothing but trouble. I cannot update to OSX 4.0 because of my machine type. I cannot see slide shows that I have posted to my business website. Other people can see them. I get messages like "please update Adobe Flash player or "Enable Java Script. I have tried to down load Camio browser 1.6.8 as an alternative to get the slide shows to work. I have updated to fire fox 2.0.20 Where do I install or look for the folder to install or correct any problems. I have Flash 8. I have tried flash 9, but it won't work on my Mac OSX3.9. Fire fox crashes when I try to access my Yahoo. mail account, so I access it through Safari. I'm appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Thanks

Thank you for posting. Here is a tip to your problems. I see that only your updating Mac osX from 2.8 to 3.9, i tell the you, update is only the version of the system, add-ons, and plug-ins. Far from beyond the installations, before the old firefox have a problem already. Why it crashes, firefox control its add-ons on your browser which is unlike IE(Internet Explorer). This is mostly the problem of firefox crashes.
All you have to do is reformat your system with new Mac osX 3.9 (not update ok!). If your thinking to remove or uninstall firefox the problem still there, Use firefox old version and others, it help you a lot and no more worries. Good luck!
