I am usually really good at fixing windows media player. If you can tell me a little more specific about the redio problem, I might be able to help you out.
What type of redio were you trying to play? Was it sonething like internet radio or something else?

I am using WMP 11 and I dont think i ever had any problems to listen to online redio. Can you share your link where you wanted to listen it. I will figure out some hack to listen to it without going back to previous version of WMP.

In my opinion, if you are able to listen to the radio in WMP 9. You should be able to in WMP 11.
If the problem is still there, you might want to download Windows Media Player 11 Beta 2. It might solve your problem.
Hey !! - Dr. drink -maybe u can help me then -Originally Posted by DrDrink
i am a useruseruser of wmp - ie an avid user of it n just wanted some more tweaking in it.
wmp 6.4 was so good - but the wmp 10 n 9 that i use dont show the filename in their captions - they only show in the status bar n that too - come in n out - not persistent.
I wud really like to have my wmp 9 or 10 to have that functionality - to show the currently opened filename in its CAPTION - ie. TITLE bar.
OR maybe somewhere else - but for permanent ie as long as the file is bein played.

i have over the years seen so many ppl abusin wmp for itS bloatness n heavy ram usage - but when i play any video in wmp - like normal mpeg-1 or wmv 1000kbps video then its normal ram usage shown in task manager is very very good - about 11-16 mb ram. but when i play the same video in other video players like mpclassic or zoom -they take bout 20-25mb ram approx.
can anyone tell me why is this trend of abusin wmp goin on then ???
thx for all helping.
In WMP 6, you can see what you are playing on the bottom of the seek bar but for some reason microsoft has eliminated that option in the future releases.
However, I think in WMP 10 and 11; we can see it every 3 seconds now.
You will have to use WMP 6 for that. The new versions do not let you see what you are playing on the seek bar.
Old Version Rocks!
Ok i know this, but i am not talking of having this feature in the newer versions IE 9 to 11 - DR. DRINK says he can tweak it a bit, all i want is tweaking the latest wmp, IF of course he can....
