Default Help ... I cannot load QuickTime 7.6.8 on my Windows XP service pack 3 computer

I have tried cleaning all Qucktime versions out and re-installing using IO Advanced System Care from IO Bit.
I can install Itunes 8.3 with QuickTime 7.6.2 but cannot upgrade.
This all started when I tried to upgrade to iTunes 10. from iTunes 9.2 - now my library won't play on the old versions of iTunes 8.3 and I cannot upgrade to the new version.
    The problem is QuickTime
When I try to go from 7.6.2 to 7.6.8 i get the message " THE CONFIGURATION DATA FOR THIS PRODUCT IS CORRUPT. CONTACT YOUR SUPPORT PERSONEL"
I even gone into my Regestry and cleaned out QuickTime in my Local_Machine.
Can anyone point me to what to do next??

Just download iTunes 10.1 from OldApps. But this time use a download manager and then run the installer. That should be able fix the issue.

Hi try run a clean uninstall software by using Revo uninstaller, then download the latest version at www.quicktime.com and install it.
