AOL for I Mac

I am having problems with the new AOL software for my IMac. It is bringing over 3000 emails up on my mail. I called tech support and they told me what to do and it did not work. I had 1.7 I am having problems with. Is there another software I can install that is older?? I have tried 1.7 3 times and it keeps bringing up the emails. HELP!!

Hi Ann welcome to the forums.

Are those 3000 emails coming all at once? Or are those all emails you have ever had? Also are they legit emails or are they spam?
