Problem downloading or installing Mozilla Firefox 2.0 onto MAC with Leopard OS

Hi,

I'm Talinn, a new member here. I have a MAC, and although I am an expert user of many software programs, am really dense about hardware and maintenance issues.

I have tried to download and install an older (2.0) version of mozilla firefox from your site onto my MAC (Leopard OS). Each time, I got a message that said 'mounting failed'. I do not understand. Please, someone, advise me; I really need to install firefox.

PS - The reason I like the 2.0 Firefox is because it allows me to paste when entering information on a form. Many of the newer programs allow a site to block the paste function, but firefox mercifully lacks that 'feature'. If Firefox 2.0 can't be installed on Leopard, is there is some other downloadable browser or program that does the same thing?

Hi Talinn,

I believed you downloaded a corrupt file/copy or there might be something wrong on the process between you and the server. It might be possible that the system (your O.S) is evidently trying to mount the disk image but failed that's why you are having this error.
