dear sirs:
this letter that i have written to you, is in regards to a desperate plea in asking for your help, regarding step by step instructions, of how set up airsnort on my laptop.... while i have all of the {gimp} components need for the program, {to run IT} i am not sure as to where i should proceed from there, nor am i sure as to what else i need, to make this program run.... nor am i sure as to what i am doing..... i have a Hewlett/Packard gp71 340us, with windows 7 installed into it, {not by choice, but by factory specs} and from other post, [not on source-forge} the program won't run on windows......... if this is the case, could you please tell me, as to how i can set up "aircrack"?... provided, you have information regarding its set up, or would be willing to help me with this program?..... i conclude here, hoping that one of you will have mercy on me to help...... and thank you for all of your time & attention...

Thank you sir, have you ever try to install it on Windows XP? I was amazed on Windows 7 before but now i always use this system, is a crap. Looking toward the visions of Microsoft company that would a lot to us but this time this system is failed, more complicated than other Operating System.
With your problem is not a simple thing. More study is beyond with it.
Can you send us the Notification after you install this program we can identify the problem.

Please ignore the post above, I think he misunderstood what you were trying to ask.

I'm sure you have by now read this post (AirSnort on Windows) about AitSnort not working on Windows.

However have you tried following instructions from install_aircrack [Aircrack-ng]

Also I would recommend you ask questions directly to aircrack team on their website. SourceForce does not provide direct support to end users since they just host open source project and do not really make the software.

Hello: And thank you for your post to me...... I am so sorry that I wasn't as swift as you were to reply.... I haven't been feeling good.... To reply to your inquiry: {On getting help from the 'aircack' teams website} They were the {very} first I had went to, & got nothing but grief, {trouble, in other words, in my being a novice in setting up & installing the program} being banned from the forum, all due in part that they thought I would retaliate against the poster who was antagonizing me..... So I got no help..... Would you be knowledgeable about the program, to give me step by step instructions on how to set it up & install it?...... As I am at a loss to do so..... From what I understand, there is a linux version of "aircrack", requiring no pre-knowledge to set it up & install it..... Do you know of this?..... If you do, then please let me know, & if possible, a link to download it would be most sincerely appreciated.... I end here, & await for your post on this matter...
