i can't install 2.7......

I can't install 2.7......
i have ms and trouble reading, a nurse got instructions for installing for me yesterday.


they are not clear, the word "application' is not.


so there is the blue thing with the S and then the one that says "Applications."


it says to drag Skype application to Dock. i have dragged things to Dock before.


the blue thing. it just keeps popping back out and going back to applications.


i have mac os, 10.4, safari 4.0.5.

i did NOT choose the latest version on purpose. i have 1 gb of ram. i have a 400mz processor, i wonder it this is the problem. plenty of room, 30 GB hard drive

i have 8 items in dock. but it does not stay there.


i came on, saw more people on this first one. i have a friend leaving US for England IN TWO DAYS and wanted to see if i could get this to work.


i am on an ms forum and don't post there twice......but i also just lost about 200 emails and am in la-la land.

i can't see those creatures on right to post one

Hi Maeve, I think you've drag the installation file not the shortcut, try to look for the shortcut Icon and then drag it in your dock.
