    Default transmission for the mac

Hi I've got a couple questions I was hoping someone could answer. First off, I'm trying to optimize Transmission to download as fast as possible. I've started that by looking into the "forwarding the port," but I'm clueless about this stuff. I made a new port just for transmission but in the preferences it still says that it can't check to see if the port's open (yellow dot). I realize it doesn't mean the port's closed, but I still can't download from all the possible seeders.

This led me to try and dl a newer version of transmission. I'm running OS 10.4.11, and I initially used transmission 1.03, simply cause it's the first version I found to work. But now that I've scrolled up on this site and downloaded the latest version that requires 10.4.11, they don't even open. I've continued down, downloading newer versions than the one I originally had, but when I double-click them on the desktop nothing happens. And these are the ones that only require 10.4.11.

Can someone tell me why I'm unable to use a more recent versions of transmission? and then maybe help out a noob to speed up downloads. I appreciate it.

    Word Association!

(The Other One Got Closed So I Made Part 2 )

I say a word then you say one which is associtated with that word

    for example:
Moon, you would say something like Stars

    ------------------------------------------------------------------

    here's the first word: eyes

We help not because we need to but we help because we want to.........there's a big difference between "need" and "want"
