HELP! I am having trouble with Windows Live hotmail!

My husband and I both have email accounts with hotmail. My husband's use to work just fine until about a year ago and then we discovered that it wasn't so fast anymore to send emails out. It has been taking forever. I started a new hotmail email account of my own for my soap business and that one takes forever to send emails. As a matter of fact with both of them, it takes so long that eventually we get error messages saying that there is no connection and that we need to check our connection or the message will say that hotmail can't connect right now and try again later. I know we are connected--we have dial up service and dial up as everyone knows is painfully slow. I am having to use gmail lately for sending my personal emails because gmail works so much better with my dial up connection--it even sends attachments much more quickly. I don't want to have to change my business's email address--it would take forever to contact my customers and let them know the change--but on the other hand, I have to drive 30 miles one way to the library to send anything from my hotmail address. Doesn't hotmail have something that would work with dial up better or have they gotten to the point where you have to have a highspeed internet connection to use them anymore? I don't have enough income to afford highspeed internet! They only work for me if I am using a highspeed internet connection! What do I do?

Have you tried opening hotmail on another browser? Like Chrome or Firefox? If opening Hotmail is much too slow, you can try closing other websites or programs that may be open. Make sure Hotmail is the only one running. You can also try deletint temporary internet files.
