cannot uninstall python 2.6

I downloaded this from oldapps and now I want to uninstall it. But I get the error msg, "cannot open logfile." So what does that mean? Was it corrupted when I downloaded it? I'm not a technician so I'd appreciate an answer that I can understand. thanks for your help. jayess99

Upgrade to one newer version and then run uninstaller. 9 out of 10 times it would work.
