Angry Skype Old download not recognised

The latest Skpe versions video does not work on my PC Windows XP with all latest patches and required abilities. I downloaded from your site V2.0.0.97 and whammo everything is fine. I was recently advised to update because Skype had fixed the problem!! This I did - no different. So I re-downloaded from you v2.0.0.97. Guess what my PC, just the same, is not recognised by the Skype download as the error message says "video only available for users of Windows XP" Any one any ideas please?

Did you remove the newer version first and then tried to install the older version?
