Can't connect to Messenger!

hi there- not sure if anyone knows how to help me. I have Mac osx (version 10.4.8) but a really really slow internet connection that won't let my msn messenger 6.01 connect.... i have tried to download messenger 3.52 (thinking that a older version may connect) but it keeps telling me that there is no application to open it...
I am in the arctic- where although i am using the equivilent of adsl i suppose- but it is super super slow...
any ideas??

Who is your internet provider and how much do you pay a month?


Anyways, you can try Audim or Miranda and see if you can connect. Also now a days Yahoo Messenger can also connect to MSN Messenger.
