Problems with 6.0 AIMS

For some time now, I've used the latest version of Triton Aims, when I first installed it, it was in a 'beta' version...and with the upgrade since, I do not know if it was continued as a 'beta' version, anyhow, that's not the problem. Just a couple days ago, I get a pop up from AIMS indicating that there was an upgrade available, of course, I clicked that and continue to download 6.0 AIMS. The problem I'm having is this: Anytime someone sends me a link/url via the instant message, when I click on it, my mozilla firefox browser comes up (as it has in the past with the other versions), but it doesn't load the page of/for the link supplied by the other person via AIMS. Twice I have uninstalled it, re-installed 6.0...to no avail. Many people depend on me to access their links supplied via AIMS...never had this sort of problem in the past and it's darn frustrating to say the least. I run XP SP2 platform--windows all have been updated, mozilla has been updated. Even when I click on the 'help' in the drop-down menu in the AIMS buddy list, loads up the mozilla firefox, but doesn't load the page up. Has anyone have had this problem or glitch? Any ideas or directions I could greatly use? Am at wits end here and almost ready to ummm...let's just hope I don't go that wayyyyyy. :lol:

Checking back here, apparently so far, no one has encountered such problems with the installation of the 6.0 AIMS....

Now I guess would be a good time to know if anyone might have a hunch or idea what might be causing the problem (or glitch).
