iTunes 7.0.2/freezes on import & play/can't delete

message "iTunesHelper is running", appears whenever I try to trash iTunes from my PowerBook G4/Sys 10.4.8.

Does anyone know where to find this "iTunesHelper" & shut it off? Neither Sherlock nor Spotlight seem to know what or where it is. I've also tried Reggie Ashworth's, 'AppDelete',

to no avail.

I've tried installing iTunes 6.0.4 with the same results: the app freezes on import or play & I have to force quit & restart.

Problem is resolved: Thanks to poster 'OLDFREAK': 3 entries down page 4, reply #34. I rooted out all the snippets of iTunes 7.0.2 & installed an earlier version of iTunes.
