I have just purchased an i pod nano and downloaded the latest version of i tunes,when i am importing music it comes up with error 1418 also error -50 it also says ipod cannot be updated- the disk could not be read from or written to. also when i get error -50 it says the ipod cannot be updated an unknown error occured.
Can anyone give me advise

Since the release of iTunes 7 this has been a wide spread error.
