    Welcome to the forums RDS_IB,

From what I see on the incredimail download page, it is still not compatible with Vista. I think you should keep checkig on this page to be sure when they release a new Vista version.

on my version of vista, basic home, if you go to properties of the the program there is a tab called compatibility and you can choose which previous version of windows, 98 service pack 2, windows server 2003 service pack 1, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0 service pack 5, Windows 98/ Windows Me, Windows 95 you want the programs to run in

Just what like shrek have posted, there is an option under the programs property wherein you can choose to what compatible operating system you want to run your program.
There are several choices that will be show by a drop down list, for example, you are using windows XP, then the choices are windows NT, 98, 98 and ME.

If you have any other questions feel free to post it here.

Incredimail is compatible with vista...you just have to edit the permissions for it, make sure your account has admin permissions, then right click on Incredimail and take ownership...that should do it.

The download page is now updated, Incredimail now supports Vista - Download IncrediMail
