I can't run Ares, I've re-installed it several times and it won't open.. what I should no? the folder in "program files" is not marked there either. I have done anything in my power, check settings, configuration, hidden folders.. everything

Fist of all uninstall Ares completely from your computer. Then go to OldApps.com/ares.htm and download any version.

Then instead of installing it in the Program Files try to make a folder called Ares somewhere else, I have created it on the desktop. Install it tyhere. I have posted images for better understanding.







If this does not work, I suggest you to try eMule (http://www.oldapps.com/emule.php). Its also a nice alternate to use instead of Ares.
