Limewire isnt working any more

I was using the PRO version of limewire and all of a sudden it stopped working completely. It will not load any more and the icon is gone from the systray. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Limewire and Java and still nothing. When I try to load it, the interface comes up on the desktop and disappears without anything happening. I'm at a total loss and the people at Limewire could care less. Could someone help this rookie out, please?

Have you tried using alternates to Limewire such as Ares, eMule, iMesh, etc...

You can get more information on those program here

Although Limewire is really popular software around, I would recommend using Ares Galaxy as the best alternative to it.
