    Exclamation kind of off topic

but i really need your help!

my computer crashed last month (something in the computer cracked)
so i got a new computer and re-installed most of my old programs,
but when i opened microsoft word a lot of my fonts were gone.
i still had all my documents, but the documents with the missing fonts were switched back to some default font

so i tried to download some fonts off random sites, but once they were saved on my computer i didn't know what to do with them because they were zipped

sorry for that long drawn out explanation, but anyways, my question is:

how do i download free font packs off the internet easily? Is there a more recent version of word that has the fonts i used to have?

    thankyou so much!!

All those zip files you downloaded have usually fonts files inside of them. What you need to do is that Open up that zip file and find font files inside.

On the other side, have "Fonts" folder open from the control panel.

After that all you need to do is simply drag that font files from zip file to the "Fonts" folder.

Some useful places you can read more on it are here
