I finally managed to download skype 1.4.0.27, installed it and restarted the computer. but when i try to open the programm, it appears in the dock for only a few seconds and then disappears suddenly, as if it was quit.

    does anyone have an explication/solution?

Since the first version of skype. It requires 10.3 (10.3.9 for latest releases!) or superior.

No way on 10.2 you can run it.
