I upgraded to itunes 7.3 a few days ago and now my blasted iPod won't work and is not being recognized by iTunes. I've downloaded several new songs from the itunes music store and it saves them alright in the library but when I plug in my iPod to charge and (iTunes usually opens right up), it won't recognize or upload my new songs/playlists.
I'm not a computer wiz by any means, so if anyone has a simple play/by/play list of directions to downgrade, I'd be very much appreciative. I'm working with a 2003 Dell Dimensions (if that has anything to do with it) and Windows XP. I should probably also mention that my iPod is a G1 Nano.
Please help! ~Jen

First of all Go to My Music in My documents > iTunes (folder). Backup all files in a folder called Backup on the desktop (Copy them not cut and paste).
Drag Three files shown in the attachment on the desktop. Then uninstall current version of itunes. Go to
http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.htm and download and install any version 7 or 6 you want.
It should work fine if not let me know.
