    Exclamation Two sets of music!

    hi again!

    ok so here's my problem:
about a month ago i charged my ipod through the computer and then about a week after that my computer crashed.
so i had all my previous music in my ipod and on my backup file,
but when i transfered my music from my backup file into my new library there were doubles and triples of every song so it took me a long time to delete all
i have also gotten many new songs and i want to replace the music on my ipod with the music in my library
but i don't want the ipod to delete the music in my itunes library
and im leaving for europe tomorrow at 6 in the morning so i know this is kind of late notice but i would really appreciate any help!!
    thankyou so much!

You can use your ipod manually to transfer music. All you need to do is right after you plug in the ipod is to select Manually manage songs and playlists option

    1. Connect your iPod to your computer and open iTunes
    2. Select your iPod in the iTunes Source list
    3. Click the iPod Options button in the lower-right corner of the iTunes window
    4. In the iPod preferences window, select the Manually manage songs and playlists option and then click OK

Once you add songs and come back from Europe, use a software called iDump

Backup all your music From iPod to Computer and then try to reorganize the library and then sync your ipod.

    Good Luck

In future you can use itunes version 6 to remove multiple sets of same music files.
