I used benhur's advice, and was finally able to load quickbooks onto my computer. I gave up about a year ago, but I decided to try again. I found I had to add .net framework 1.1 first, but happily I am now able to use the program when I travel.
I do not think so. I have use the Quickbooks 2005. I do not get the problem like that.Well that's the thing, this issue I believe, is specific to Quickbooks 2005.
But as the 2006 version is an update then i switch to that version.

You Don't need Flashplayer 7 or any other Flashplayer version...
Just click Start..
Then Click Computer...
Then Click (D) CD or DVD drive...
Then Click on Qbooks Folder...
On the right hand Window Click Setup...
This works on Windows XP or Vista...
Good Luck...
