PowerArchiver is a wondeful compressor and file archiver for Microsoft Windows platforms. It supports full read-write access to many archive formats, including ZIP, 7z and Tar. Also, read-only (decompression) support includes RAR, ACE and various disk image formats. The evaluation version of the program remains functional for fourty days. Personal licenses are currently permitted free lifetime updates to all future versions of the software, while the business license is valid through two major versions.
