IBM PC pioneer William C Lowe dies

William Lowe led a project that leads to the development of IBM’s first PC. The first “PC” run on 4.77 MHz Intel 8088 microprocessor and it came equipped with 16 kilobytes of memory and expandable to 256.

Michelle Marshal, Lowes daughter told New York times that his dad died of a heart attack last Oct 19, 2013 in Lake Forest, Illinois.
